KINDERGARTEN VALET

We have "Valet Service" at the the Kindergarten gate from 8:00 am to 8:15 am (first through fifth grade should use the Mckeever gate).  Students will be supervised until their teachers pick them up in the kindergarten area. In the event of bad weather (rain, cold, and wind) the "Valet Services" will be closed and all children should report to the auditorium.

School Gates

The school gates close at 8:15am and reopen at 2:43pm M-W-Th-F and 1:43 on Tuesday. The auditorium doors open at 7:55 am and close at 8:15 am.

STUDENT VALET SERVICE (1st - 5th Grade)

We have "Valet Service" at the Mckeever gate from 7:45 am to 8:10 am for first through fifth grade students. When you come to the school to drop off your student, turn left on Mckeever and pull up to the attendant who will help your child to quickly and safely exit your car. Students will enter Danube at the gate at the far end of the campus on Mckeever Street. Stop at the curb on the school side of the street to let your child out of the car. Do not double park, as it is a safety hazard. When you leave the valet line, please look to your left for cars proceeding in the traffic lanes. Finally, turn left on Blucher Avenue and left again on Index Street. In the event of bad weather (rain, cold, and wind) the"Valet Services" will be closed and all children should report to the auditorium.

SAFETY REMINDERS

Parents, please remind your children that if you are not at school by 2:50 p.m., (1:50 p.m. on Tuesday) they are to wait for you at the lunch area with one of the coaches. There is no supervision in front of Danube or near the auditorium.
 
Our priority is to keep our children safe and this can be best accomplished after school if children are at the after school playground.
 
Do not drop off students or pick them up in the staff parking lots. This area is for staff and having children in the parking lots presents a serious safety problem. Please use extra care as you approach the corners of Haskell and Index. We have had several accidents and near accidents there in the past.
 
Thank you for you support in these very important matters.
 
BUS ZONE
 
The area just south of the staff parking lot on Danube is designated as a bus zone only. Please do not stop there to drop off or pick up students.
